The TikTok trend has become unholy recently since Sam Smith and Kim Petras’ collab song took over.

Coming away from his typical soulful style of lyrics Sam Smith has delivered a more Kim Petras type of style in their latest viral collab song “Unholy”. The Grammy award-winning British singer has partnered with German singer Kim Petras and delivered a song that has taken over the TikTok trend days after its release.

when the song was teased by the artist back in August with some snippet of its lyrics, it started to climb the trend and after its full release, it just soared to the top and has become among the few songs which gained so much popularity on TikTok because of its catchy lyrics and beats.

The song had received over 10 million Spotify streams in just 24 hours of its release, and not only that people started creating videos by themselves as soon as the song gets released. This TikTok trend took over everything be it recipe videos or dances or anything this song is everywhere on TikTok.

Sam Smith wrote a thankyou post on Instagram he said: So excited for you to hear this it’s unreal,” “I’ve never had so much fun making a record, so I hope you can all get weird and UNHOLY to it.”
